Govt Sr Sec School, Sarahan (Kullu)

Government Senior Secondary School, Sarahan has been granted affiliation with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi, as per the approval of the Government of Himachal Pradesh.

In pursuance of the approval to affiliate 100 Government Schools in the State with CBSE in the first phase, the Directorate of School Education, Himachal Pradesh, vide letter No. EDN-B-A (1) 1/2025 dated 25.09.2025, has issued a ‘No Objection Certificate (NOC)’ in favour of this school.

This NOC has been issued for the purpose of affiliating the school with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi, and the affiliation shall be effective with immediate effect.

This milestone reflects the Government’s commitment to strengthening the quality of education by providing modern, uniform, and nationally aligned academic standards for students of the region.

Today education means much more than merely acquiring bookish knowledge. Role of teachers in this regard is very important and here at Govt Sr Sec School, Sarahan (Kullu) the teachers are having very good experience and in-depth understanding of the modern day academic requirements. Emphasis is laid on developing A.S.K. (Attitude, Skill and Knowledge), personality development, character building, inculcating values & participation in co-curricular activities and sports.
